What documents are required for the transfer of the deceased or urn to Spain?
The following documents are required for the repatriation of the body to Spain
- ID of the deceased and the e identity card
- Data (name and telephone number) of the recipient in Spain, or the data of the accompanying person.
All other documents, e.g. birth certificate for unmarried persons, marriage certificate for married persons, death certificate of the spouse for widowed persons, etc. are only required for the final death certificate, but can easily be submitted to the relevant registry office after the transfer of the deceased.
If documents are missing, a provisional death certificate will be issued by the registry office, with which the body or urn can be transferred to Spain without any problems.

What is the procedure?
- Fill out our order form and send it to us with the required documents and information by email.
- Wait until we have completed all the necessary documents and all other activities and we get back to you.
- You will receive all important documents and information such as AWB consignment note, flight details, photos, etc.
- The deceased will be properly delivered to the airport and handed over to the forwarding company.
